It has not been rated by VRBO yet because this is the 1st year that it is rented on the VRBO platform.

Avoid the check-in / check-out chaos on Saturdays. Peak season rentals are from Sunday to Sunday.

You do not need to bring sheets or towels if you rent for the FULL WEEK. PARTIAL WEEK RENTALS receive linens but NOT towels. And when you get there THE BEDS ARE ALREADY MADE UP FOR YOU. The cottage is supplied with the basic necessities such as beach chairs (at least 4), a corn hole board, some kids toys and even a spice cabinet for your convenience to utilize during your stay.

All of the kitchen appliances (except the microwave) have been replaced in March of 2024. The refrigerator even has a dual capacity icemaker.

Majestic views of the Atlantic Ocean! During the summer, sip on your favorite morning beverage and watch the sunrise. In the winter, you could watch the sunrise and the sunset from the ocean-side deck! Of course, you could take a few steps down the boardwalk to the beach and have solitude during the sunrises and sunsets.

Keep the lights off and stargaze at night. Have you ever used the "SkyVue" app on your phone?

Have a small sailboat or catamaran? Unload/Load once near the pier and leave it between the dunes and the boardwalk during the night while you stay there!

The beach is wide during low tide which provides great opportunities for shelling, walking, or jogging the beach. And a shower is just a few steps away to rinse off when you get back.

Being that this location is one of the less populated areas of the beach, there is minimal competition to get the perfect location on the surf to set up your "stuff" on the beach.
A great place for games on the beach. When it comes time to get off the beach for the day, all that stuff can be left inside the dunes and near the steps to the boardwalk without bringing it back to the house. Setups can't be any easier!

Do the kids want to putt-putt? Go get ice cream? Go to the pier? It's a short walk to those destinations. A golf cart is not needed.

Want to stay at home and not go out to eat? Downstairs is set up with gas and charcoal grills and a great place to enjoy happy hours as meals are prepared. We also have a propane burner and a big pot for shrimp boils. It is also a great place to play games (corn hole) if it's raining.

The outside shower is spacious and private.

Large living area, 4 bedrooms / 2 baths upstairs. 2 bedrooms / 1 bath downstairs. Sleeps, 13 people. We call one of the downstairs bedrooms the honeymoon suite - this bedroom makes it possible to get away from some of the hustle and bustle if you're there with a larger crowd.

Decks are on the front and rear of the cottage. The ocean side decks have gates to keep what's on the decks (kids and pets) on the decks.

A washer and dryer are provided downstairs in the storage room.

Ample parking for 7 to 8 vehicles.

NOTE: There is a $100 Administrative Fee (per booking) added to the price for renting our cottage. If you report to the owner (by email, text, or phone call) that you DID NOT bring pets, the $100 administrative fee will be refunded to you after your stay.
