Sunset Island 34 is a luxury bayside townhouse located in a gated community. This five-bedroom, four and a half bathroom townhouse has an enclosed, furnished porch that overlooks a serene, family-friendly neighborhood. It also has a balcony in the back that overlooks a different side of the neighborhood. This townhouse is the perfect place for you and your family to call home for a week! Sunset Island 34 is one of Ocean City's finest vacation rentals.

The spacious living room is bright and cheery, furnished with a comfortable couch, three cushioned chairs, and a television. The glass-paneled balcony door allows plenty of natural light to brighten the space. Right off of the living room is a small dining area, perfect for enjoyable meals with the family. Past that is a second, larger dining area. Next to the second dining area is the fully-stocked kitchen with an island and a wide granite countertop. Off of the living room is the half-bathroom. There are 3 bedrooms on the third floor. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, a television and a private master bathroom. The next bedroom has a pyramid bunkbed and a television. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed and a television. The third full bathroom is located in the hallway. The fourth bedroom is located on the fourth-floor loft and has a queen-size bed, a television and sitting area. There is also a full bathroom on this level. The entry level den doubles as the fifth bedroom and has a twin daybed and a twin-size trundle bed. The fourth full bathroom is located on the entry level as well. This property comfortably sleeps up to twelve people, so bring the whole family!

No frills beach stay
Perfectly located, great amenities at Sunset Island, and a clean home to make your base for a beach stay. With 3 families, the large home and multiple bedrooms/bathrooms was perfect. Bare bones and not able to use the kayaks that were there. Definitely bring your own sheets and pillows or rent ahead as there is nothing there but a couple thin pillows and some comforters. No paper goods either. But again, if you’re down there you aren’t spending much time at the house.

Amazing location, mediocre home
The Sunset Island area is beautiful, super family-friendly, and we absolutely loved it! I would definitely return to Sunset Island. The pool and interactive fountains were clean and nice, the food/drink service to the pool and beach was an awesome touch that I didn't expect. The market on property had a nice variety of things you might want to stop there for (ice cream, coffee, sunscreen, etc) and there is a grocery store (Rick's Market) and hardware store just outside the property. The kayak and paddle board rentals right there on the beach at Sunset Island (Thurs through Sun) was so nice. The trail around the island for riding bikes and the restaurants right outside the property in 67th St were great! Loved every minute of the area! The only downfall was that we only got 6 passes to the pool and had to pay $70 each for more (the house held 12 people). The staff at the pool wasn't very nice, but the wait staff at the restaurant, pool, beach, and market were very nice...but service was a little slow, so anticipate that it will take longer than you expect. This house, however, had a few flaws and I wouldn't choose it again. For well over $4000 for the week, this house should be better kept and the towels and sheets (for additional money) should be better quality, more of them, and there should be a fitted sheet instead of two flat sheets that kept falling off the bed. In the house, the carpets and furniture were really dirty. They need to be steam cleaned! There was only one usable pot and no usable pans (they all have peeling teflon or are totally rusted). The air conditioning doesn't work on the top two floors, and everything says to just turn it to at least 70 degrees and it will work - it does not work, so we slept with the windows open and we were sweaty every night! The home owners don't let you use some of the equipment that is in the house, and some of the items (like beach chairs) are broken. There were a few kayaks and a cart chained up with a note that says not to use them. I saw many other families bringing these things from their houses, so I asked if they brought the items or if they had full use of the equipment in their house. Most said the items were in their houses for them to use, including a cart to wheel things to the beach and back. I would try to find a house in Sunset Island that is better kept, offers more amenities, and cleans everything at least annually next time
