STAY AWAY!!
This hotel was a dump. STAY AWAY!! The best qualities of this hotel are its location (steps to the beach/boardwalk) and free parking for guests (until 3 p.m. on day of checkout). The property is dated and is quite literally falling apart. If I was the CEO of Comfort Inn, I'd be embarrassed that this was one of my franchises. I don't usually complain unless warranted, and this is abysmal. The carpet is worn, the bathroom door was quite literally falling apart - the doorknob was falling off and the plywood part of the door had separated to the point where we did not feel comfortable fully closing the bathroom door for fear we'd get stuck in there. The toilet seat was peeling and it just felt dingy. On the plus side at least the sheets looked ok and the bed was comfortable - but that was it. When we left our room to go to the beach, we really had to pull the door shut to ensure it closed properly (it was sticking). When we got on the elevator, it was jumpy and old. We likened it to Disney's Tower of Terror - only in real life. It was not worth the high price tag we paid. We will NOT be back.

Everything was mostly fine. One minor gripe was that the carpets were wet (likely just due to the beach and the cleaning involved with sand and the ocean water.) The only other thing which I chalk up to a weird one off was as we were doing our check out we asked if we could borrow the pool key to change (stayed at the beach a little after checkout and didnt have a place to change at that point.) One of the clerks at the counter insisted that he had already given me a key. We hadn't received a pool key up until that point. A little rude but it wouldn't deter me from coming back. They seemed like they were having a rough day (the staff at the counter)

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location couldn’t be better—just a step away from the beach and boardwalk, making it incredibly convenient for enjoying the seaside. The staff were exceptionally nice and helpful, always going out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. It’s also very family-friendly; we stayed as a family of four and had a great time. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable beach getaway!

The hotel location is convenient for walking to the beach and dining. Drinks from the machine are available all day. However, breakfast is too crowded, and there aren't enough tables for everyone to sit.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a balcony with a partial view of the ocean, couch and small kitchen area. Right on the boardwalk. The only issue we had was that the breakfast area was way too small. Too many people and tables in a small area of the lobby that you could barely get to the counter

We were out one afternoon and when we returned we noticed housekeeping had been in. We also discovered 2 items missing, a toy that was purchased on the boardwalk and a set of headphones that belonged to my autistic grandchild. We thought maybe they were ended up in our packed belongings even though we were almost certain they weren’t. When we got home and unpacked, the items weren’t there. We didn’t bring this up to the hotel because it will likely be met with denials and we can’t prove anything. We only know that the items were there and then they were gone. The beds were supposed to be queen. They weren’t. We measured and they were definitely full sized. Thirty minute wait standing outside the pool for someone to come unlock it. Most of the staff we encountered were pleasant. Because of the missing items, we would not stay at this hotel again.

This was a nice location to the beach and boardwalk. Was a little noisy but that’s expected with the location and the fan in the room drowned that out. There was definitely some cleanliness issues in the room such as crumbs on the couch and stains on the cover of one of the beds. Overall we did enjoy our stay.
