The staff was great. I cannot blame them at all. They were very helpful. However, fire alarms went off at around midnight, it was the third time that day. I'm traveling with small children, I take no chances. Spent about an hour outside waiting for them to go off along with a bunch of other Hotel guests who ended up leaving at that time. I expected to be compensated with some kind of discount for my stay. I have been in a hotel before where fire alarms went off through the night and I did not even have to ask, they just refunded my night. I understand that the staff cannot control the alarms, but the hotel needs to be responsible for making sure guests have a pleasant experience during their stay... its basic customer service, Especially when the alarms were triggered by people smoking inside their room... At least that's what we were told us upon checking out. I spoke to the lady at the counter who took my info so the manager could give me a call. The lady was very pleasant and very professional. It has been over a week and I'm still waiting for the manager to call me. They told me they could not refund my money because I had booked through orbitz. I understand the while 3rd party booking thing. Again, it's been over a week and I'm still waiting for the manager to call me.
