This spot was better than Hampton Inn by a long shot. Better breakfast too. Similar stuff but more. Nice and understanding staff with no attitude. Had the Oakland swag without the Oakland sass. Dope second floor. Didn't charge me for pet fee. Where as at Hampton Inn they did and gave me an attitude. They said hi to my dog, where at Hampton inn, they just said... "you been here for more than 7 days you want house cleaning?" Girl... I been here on 20 days and you asked me on my last day? Pet fee woulda been 50 vs 75. Guest here are nice as hell too. It's way better than Hampton Inn. The only problem here is that the shower sucks.

Clean facilities, great staff, very good breakfast. However not many eating choices and only found a subway and Popeyes open at 2pm. Downtown was desserted and business closed early. No good dining areas open nearby—did not feel safe walking at 6ish pm (lots of shady bars). We had to Uber outside downtown to find a better dining scene.

When my husband and I visit family, this is where we like to stay. The location is convenient and the property is clean and the rooms are very comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast on the 2nd floor is nicely spaced, presentable and the food is tasty. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful, customer service is always good at this property, the only area we felt needed some improvement was the valet service.
