We loved celebrating our 10 year anniversary here! Excellent location in the heart of Waikiki right on the beach - convenient to lots of popular dining and shopping locations. We were upgraded to a corner penthouse suite that was amazing. Dined at the Beachhouse restaurant and the food and the view was EXCELLENT and we loved that they had a relaxed dress code. We loved all the live music offerings in the evenings. Can't recommend enough!

We arrived after a long flight - it was 10am, and we did (understandably) have to wait until 3pm for our rooms. On arrival to our rooms we discovered that our balconies were bolted shut and locked (and would be for the durations of our stay). I enquired downstairs and was told that I should have been informed by my 3rd party booking agent - I have searched and searched - it is not mentioned once here on your listing! I was also told this is why I received a discount - there was no discount. NONE! The pool was small and noisy, not enough chairs - in fact I was told by the staff to go out front onto their "private beach" and to RENT $$ a chair/umbrella - at the hotel I had already paid for!! Then I was asked if I would like a drink - a margarita - for US$19! This all came at the end of a stressful month after the death of my brother - and this was not the relaxing hotel vacation I had been recommended. Very disappointed!

The hotel offers valet parking for $65, but that's about it. At night, you can hear street noise, and the balconies were closed for repairs, which was a bit disappointing. I have mixed feelings about my stay here. I've been to other locations that felt more cozy and intimate.

Wonderful Hotel, great location, definitely will be back. The staff was wonderful very helpful. Just be aware there is not self parking, you have to use Valet parking (there is a daily fee)
