Beautiful property. Beach was nice but the ocean floor was rocky. Probably best to wear aquatic shoes. We arrived the first day of the strike and didn’t get into our room until midnight. No guest services for 3 days. Bali’s and Tropical Grill was closed. Bali’s reopened our last night there. Our shuttle had to drop us s off at the Hilton Hawaiian bus terminal and we had to cart our luggage 10 minutes to the front desk. Check in took from 3pm to 9pm. Room was not available until midnight. We probably will not go back.

Hotel is outdated. We stayed in tapa tower which is supposed to be newly renovated but also felt outdated and old and dirty. They are a very busy big hotel so service was poor. We found mold in the unit that we were given. I had pictures of mold on the bathtub and shower head and shared it with the staff but the staff responded like it was not a big deal. They told us they had no more unit for the night when we first told them and told us they can talk with us. They lied. We refused to stay the night in that unit and asked them to see the manager. The manager was rude and asked us what we wanted like we were asking someone unreasonable. We told the manager we wanted a unit without mold and they found an available unit which they previously told us they didn’t have. The unit was the exact same besides being on a different floor. When we were taken to another unit, there was mold again! This is obviously a big problem for the hotel and they are not taking care of it. We were unable to shower that night and had to stay in the room with mold as it was very late and we had children with us. The room also had milk stains in the fridge and the overall cleanliness was absolutely disgusting. The staff is rude exception to one manager who was able to give us a refund for our stay which isn’t even a high standard. After staying there one night, we left immediately and found a new place to stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Hilton Hawaiian Village has actually had mold issues in the past where they had class action suit filed against them. This is an obvious issue that they have trouble with in their Ali’i tower. I would stay away.

Beautiful property, but our experience was tainted by the dirty rooms, active construction, and poor service. We had to request a linen change several times before someone came to replace the brown stained sheets. We also paid for an upgrade since they do not show you which tower you are going to be in when booking online, but we were not informed that there was active construction going on the floor above us which would start early morning for our entire stay. Staff were hesitant to compensate us properly which resulted in us still paying extra for the upgrade. This property advertises as beach front and only shows pictures of the rainbow tower, but it has 8 towers so be sure to ask ahead of time where you are going to be placed if being close to the beach is important to you. Overall, would not stay again.

they didn’t tell us that they have closed their main restaurant the tropics. It is the best restaurant best price best value best view everything and they didn’t tell us till we got there that it was closed for remodeling. We would have never booked the trip to that hotel. They only have one other restaurant worth noting and it is Bali, very expensive food is average at best.

Wonderful visit, very accommodating. Busy, be prepared. Very nice location, lots to do, relative easy access. They enjoyed the tourist much more then Maui.

Overall OK resort. It has everything you need and are looking for. The downside is the area. One side of the tower has graffiti and is near dirty streets. The food on the resort is overpriced, small portions and not good. We were better off driving out to restaurants outside the resort which is fine because we explore but if you’re looking for quick and convenient you may find it’s not worth what you’re paying for. Rooms are outdated also. Who still has shower curtains? Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

The resort has the most tranquil beaches for swimming in Waikiki. Food and live entertainment were great and the Friday noght fireworks are a bonus! Will definitely visit again!

I found property convince wonderful. The beach was just steps away. The suggested shuttle service was late for airport pickup. Next time i will take cab I loved my view. There were a large number of cost i was mot prepared for. Meals on the resort were costly but when i walk outside the resort prices for meal were more reasonable.

Way too many people

Alright, do not stay here if you want a quiet place to relax. Things NOT A RELAXING RESORT. We were there in low season and it was grossly over crowded. We walked down the street to check out some other hotels. Way more chill. If you are looking for chill STAY AWAY. I’ll never stay here again. Also leave the resort to eat. The prices are outrageous at the resort. Also just go to Maui.
