The Saracen’s Head was excellent. The welcome, the room and the food was superb.
My breakfast was certainly one of the best I have ever had.
We had evening meals two nights and they were also brilliant.
They use local produce which was fresh and tasty.
Well do to you and your team
Anyone visiting Norfolk must consider staying at this hotel. The food is excellent and the breakfasts quite amazing. The Host and his Staff are just the very best.
Located as the Pub says in the "Middle of Nowhere" "In the middle of everywhere". A fabulous location in Norfolk about 15 minutes drive from Holt and the North Norfolk Railway by a maze of little country roads. No traffic noise just peace and quiet. The food is very good and the suppliers to the pub are listed on a large blackboard in the bar, all are very local, worth mentioning are the Smoked Salmon, Sausages, Bacon and Black Pudding all top notch, Large garden to sit in on sunny days with access to the bar of course.
Lovely hotel and a friendly welcome. Room spacious and well-appointed. Sadly I did not find out until I had booked, that the restaurant and bar weren't open. Would have been ideal if, after a day of exploring, you could return to the hotel for an evening meal and a drink.
Fabulous dog friendly spot in the beautiful Norfolk countryside.
Tim was a fantastic host who has thought of everything. Large and comfortable room, luxury bedding and ensuite bathroom.
Delicious breakfast served in the beautiful courtyard garden.
A flying visit, arriving late and leaving early. Welcoming and comfortable, however the overwhelming standout and the reason that I will definitely return is the food - dinner and breakfast were both exceptional.
Lovely location and warm welcoming and exceptionally accommodating staff. Fine locally sourced food, well presented.
A calm quiet and peaceful environment we felt privileged to enjoy.
Despite their warnings about limited Wi-Fi we had a good 4G signal!
