The staff were exceptional, very helpful and genuine. The hotel condition was well maintained, the bed was comfortable. There were signs requiring renovation such as rust on towel rack and scratches on the toilet though.

Marriott Ambassador to Titanium Elite members this is not a "true" Marriott property but managed by a third party management company. Nothing about this property it's food, its accommodation or condescending staff will meet the Marriott/Westin brand standards you are used to. Also, the white tea fragrance known to Westin brands is expelled so heavy it is difficult to breathe in the tiny and limited common areas. For hot wings and broccoli room service charged $50 dollars with subpar and inflated food and beverage services. If your flight was cancelled or have a layover - this Westin is okay. But the fitness center to pool , upkeep and cleanliness will remind you of a roadside Days Inn your parents stopped at en route to Disney World.

Westin in Reston
Our stay at the Westin in Reston Virginia was really nice. The staff were very friendly and it was worth it to pay ahead for the breakfast buffet. My son and I had a wonderful time.

Not a Westin. There were too many occurrences that were "off brand". Not sure if they're transitioning to a Marriot Bonvoy or from but either way its somewhere in the middle. If you want a nice Marriot I'd say go for it but if you're expecting a Westin, just no.
