Families please avoid unless last resort. This place is in need of a desperate renovation. As a midwesterner we deal with what we get. We stayed in Motel area and only saw this area. Mold in room and drains were slow, carpets were old and stained. I will say there are 3 pluses, location, has two bedrooms(4 full size beds) and has hot tub and pool in main area. They charge $20 a night for parking as well.

Hotel is in the center of everything, walking distance to the falls. Hotel room is clean and spacious. Pool has hot tub and sauna, my kids loved it. I will definitely stay here again, we love this hotel. So happy we found this hotel.

Bug infested and smell like marijuana
The first room we were given had bugs on the bed sheets, stain on the carpet and bathroom ceiling and smells like smoke. They switched us to a different room however the new room had a very strong marijuana smell. The lady at the front desk sent someone to the room to confirm the smell (unbelievable!) and then they offered to spray it. They then refused to switch us to a room in the tower instead of the outside ones. At this point, there was no way I was going to sleep at this hotel, so we decided to pick our stuff and just leave late that night. They had no problem abandoning us. Overall this is a terrible place to stay and the worst hotel I have ever seen. Don't be fooled by the attractive pricing, it's not worth it. Pay a bit more and stay at a cleaner comfortable place especially if you traveling with kids.

Deceiving The Hotel expanded to next building that seems to be a former Motel. The room that I took seem part of Motel, therefore the entrance is accessible any person from street. Insects could get into the room when door is open. Reception said that room is what I selected.

We got in early on Sunday and we were asked if we wanted to move into an indoor room as we were traveling with 2 young children. We came to celebrate our daughter’s 2nd birthday. Sabrina at the front desk was very friendly and attentive. The manager Tonya was a blessing and were so thankful for her. Our room was perfect for us as we could see the fireworks from the room which made it very convenient. Great view of Clifton hills from our room. All the stuff we bumped into on our trip were very friendly. Such great experience and we will definitely be back. Thank you all!!

Hotel was in a good location and parking was easy. The kids enjoyed the pool but found the water cold. The place could use some updates, there were hardly any outlets and no usb for charging devices. The outside stairwell needs a sweep, lots of dead mosquitos. I think breakfast should have been included with the price we paid plus the smoke alarm went off while we were eating and we had to leave the food and go outside because it was so loud. Would have been nice if they reduced the price or comped the meal bc of that alone. It was fine for one night but would not stay here again.

Motel rooms
We spent one night at the motel area and there’s a huge difference from the rooms at the main building. The price wasn’t too different, but the conditions were terrible. Old AC with dust, washroom’s door didn’t close and with the paint falling, the shower had only cold water, difficult access to the room (we had to go through the stairs that comes from the parking garage), double bed with mattress and pillows not comfortable… I wouldn’t recommend it. If you go to this place, make sure you’re NOT booked for the motel option, but to the main building.
