Location
On the map, it looks very close to Table Rock, but in reality it’s about a 20-minute walk unless you take the incline railway, and the route includes a steep hill. For travelers without a car, this can be tiring. It’s also a bit far from downtown Niagara Falls.
Room
With “Fallsview” in the name, I expected to see the falls at night from my room. Instead, I was placed in a separate building from the front desk, on the ground floor, facing the parking lot and the opposite side of the falls—very disappointing. When I opened the curtains, cars were parked so close that I actually felt unsafe, as if one accidental move forward could hit the window.
Both the main building and the annex felt old. The hallway in the annex was dim and unsettling. I wanted to use the laundry facilities, which Expedia listed as available, but there were none in the annex. They may have been in the main building, but since it was some distance away, I didn’t bother to check.
The room had a TV, but none of the channels were what you would normally expect at home, and it couldn’t be connected to a computer either. I was also surprised to see a notice stating there would be a fine if towels were missing.
Wi-Fi was very weak, and I wasn’t given the password at check-in—I had to go back and ask for it separately.
