I first stayed at Phu Quy 2 three years ago. It was nothing flash then, and has slipped further since.
A great location, being one building back from the beach road, but everything else is lacking.
Staff, except the lovely sisters doing housekeeping, are surley and unhelpful. It appears as though guests are an inconvenience for them.
Facilities are old and run down. It's a shame because it could be a really nice hotel.
The bed is saggy and the ancient springs creak and groan.
Breakfast is something you want to be early for. Once the Chinese have been through, the pickings are slim, and cold.
I had a balcony room, with a great view, but with that comes significant noise from the busy street, which matches the noisy Chinese inside the place.
My ultimate test. Would I book again?
Nope.
