This delightfully secluded location is truly away from it all. Surrounded by trees and a little stream. Totally in the heart of rural South Devon in a pocket of green amongst the swell and rolling hills. There is a hot tub that can be added to your booking if desired, which is £85 for 3 days and then £20 a day after that. Please let us know. This small and beautifully decorated space is well equipped and functional, as well as having a polished rustic atmosphere that invites inspiration, creativity and peace...Stunning country side and location surrounded by a traditional Devonian farm. There is a wood fired hot tub that can be added to your booking please message me to let me know in advance as the tub will need treating with chlorine and amount of time wanted as it’s an additional £85 for 3 days minimum then £20 a day after that. The hut is off grid, so you will have a taste of what living simply and close to nature is like (sometimes there’s not enough sun so I need to warn guests that electricity is limited and can be inconsistent due to environmental factors, so please don’t bring high-power consuming items such as hairdryers), but still enjoy having the luxury and comfort of light and plugs to charge phones, cooker and hot water my hut has to offer. There is no fridge but a cool box is provided if you wanted to bring your own ice packs. Hopefully you'll be inspired and go away with an experience of living off-grid, and a greater appreciation for nature, and what we often take for granted in this modern and busy world. All washing and cleaning is done with non toxic environmentally friendly products. The water is not mains water but is the farms own naturally sourced spring water (pressure and consistency can be unpredictable), it is drunk by the family on the farm, however it is not possible to test water constantly so for this reason I must say drink at your own risk.Family’s wanting to stay with kids. Parents will need to take responsibility for there children. There are animals on the farm and areas with machinery or unusual terrine, there is also a large pond near by (not accessible) and stream. Dogs should be kept on leads and any mess safely disposed of.Guests will have the benefit of having the entire area to themselves with little if any interruption. There are sometimes people traveling along the bridal way at the top of the rise. If it is a quad outing this can be noisy but often short lived. People do ride along the track on horse back also. After September there may also be some pheasant shooting in the area, however this is kept to a minimum and will be away from the Glenn. There may be snacks and general food items in the cupboard that your welcome to help yourself to. Some times with fresh herbs potted herbs outside. The access is a little tricky, the track is pretty bumpy for any normal cars. Guests are advised to leave the car in the farm yard and walk to the hut which is about a 6 minute walk. Alternatively if it’s dry enough guests are permitted to drive right across the relatively flat field leading to the Glenn. If you want any fresh local produce, I can suggest ‘Ben’s farm shop’ at Staverton around 4.5 miles away. The hut is situated on a private farm, with the surrounding fields belonging to the farm. There is a bridal way close by for walks. If you have a suitable vehicle you’re welcome to drive it down the bridal way but we take no responsibility for guists getting stuck. Although Chris the farmer can help for £25.Very minimal.Peaceful stunningly secluded country side spot surrounded by trees and steam. Quiet with plenty of wildlife, apart from various farm animals calling and rural sports such as shooting or quad bike riding.Car.Adventurous access
