The staff was amazing! Our room was clean, and so was the property. I love that there was a sofa bed in the room. Pool was amazing and amazing selection for breakfast. I would most definitely recommend this hotel. We will definitely be back!!

We booked our room a couple of days before we arrived. We drove from North Carolina to Virginia and were told that we had a check in at 3 PM upon arriving at 3:50 PM. We were told that our room would be ready in 10min. That definitely wasn’t the case as we didn’t get into our room until almost 5 o’clock. Obviously, with having an exhausted toddler and pre-scheduled Reservations this definitely created a problem. It seems as if the hotel overextended themselves as there clearly wasn’t enough rooms since they were scrambling, trying to find one. That being said our money was taken on Thursday night so you knew well in advance we were coming. If you didn’t have space we could’ve gone to someplace else that was able to accommodate. Despite the the wait, not once were offered a way to rectify this issue. We were not given a discount. We were not given a better room. No attempt to resolve the issue from staff. Our time was completely disregarded. If the rooms weren’t ready they could’ve notified us well in advance to make other arrangements or provide an ETA when to check in. However, we checked in an hour after scheduled check in and we still had to wait for a room. If the hotel overcommitted itself, it’s not our fault. We could’ve been refunded and went to another establishment. Of course, we were late to our event. In regards to the room, it was fine however, the continental breakfast was subpar at best. We ended up going to Dunkin’ Donuts. Should’ve used our Hilton points.

The carpet is unpleasantly dirty and sticky in the room. There are stains on the carpet and walls. The air conditioning noise is terrible. The hotel was half full when we came; I asked for a quiet room not facing the highway - the woman at the front desk gave us a room directly on the highway. You can hear the cars and motorcycles all night, they roar. The fire alarm woke us up at 4 am and the hotel had to evacuate; we spent a long time just standing there - no compensation was offered for the lost night. There was no fire, it was some sort of false alarm. I will not stay here again and do not recommend it to others.

Fire alarms went off in hallways at 4:30 AM but not in our room. I only woke up because I heard an annoying beeping sound in the distance. My husband slept right through it. Do not feel that we would have been safe if it was a real fire. Weren't able to return to our rooms until after 5:45 AM. Other than that, the stay was wonderful. Clean and comfortable room and polite and accomodating staff.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Place could be a little cleanser, maybe needs some upgrades. Breakfast nothing special and the price of snacks and drinks in convenience area were extremely high. Overall $300 a night is a bit much for what we got in my opinion.

The walls are very thin. I could hear the full conversations of the people next to us as if we were in the room with them. It made it very difficult to sleep. I asked for a little extra time in the morning of check out, like 30 mins and I was told that was fine, I called for towels and another manager who answered the phone was rude and told me I was holding up her housekeeping. I’ve stayed here once before and because of all that, it will be my last. I’ve frequent the area because my son goes to school nearby, but the noise made sleeping difficult and then the attitude of the manager made it worse.
