The Outlook Inn exceeded our expectations! While earlier ratings were positive, we did not anticipate the wonderful hospitality of the staff or immaculate cleanliness of the updated property. 1) a wonderfully convenient location; 2) nicely sized rooms; 3) Lovely breakfast specials each day, but with ability to customize. We will return and highly recommend, but if you are seeking opulence or uber amenities of a chain hotel, this is not it. If you want a quiet and lovely and well located independent accommodation, it is.

The breakfast was great, with a varied menu each day. It was personally prepared and presented. Everything was fresh. The hostess for the Inn was fantastic, pleasant, caring, & effective. We highly recommend The Outlook Inn. It’s location is good & close to the wharf shopping, restaurants, Parking is provided free, but about 3-4 blocks away.

This property is even better than advertised. The room was clean and looked newly renovated. The upstairs breakfast area was charming and the outdoor seating area was perfect to sit and view the wharf. Serena gave us a warm welcome and all information needed to make our stay go smoothly. The breakfast each morning was amazing! Would highly recommend this property!!

Wonderful place to stay for our 1 night in Newport. I wish we had more time as it was our 1st time there and we really enjoyed the town. So quaint and felt like we were in a hallmark movie walking around the wharf. I researched where would be best to stay and this Inn turned out to be a great choice. Parking was a little crazy so we appreciate the Outlok Inn had a parking spot just a couple of blocks away. We deopped of our bags and it was an easy walk to the lot. Newport was very safe walking around. Tons of historic colonials in this neighborhood. So fun for walking around. Shout out to Serena who was a wonderful host. She was very welcoming. And also the chefs made a delicious breakfast. Completely recommend this Inn to all. Excellent stay.

The Outlook Inn was quaint and located close to the downtown area, but far enough away that it was quiet. The delicious breakfasts varied each morning and were cooked and served to each guest. The staff couldn’t do enough to make our stay enjoyable!

I cannot say enough good things about this property. The location is key right near the water area shopping of Bowen wharf. We checked in and Ashlee gave us a ton of recommendations and was literally the nicest person ever. So friendly and just so nice. Parking is a little ways down the street, but you can unload your bags and then go parking and go straight to shopping or dining. There’s a quaint little rooftop that you can sit on and enjoy your breakfast or even something you brought back for dinner. The rooms are so pretty and the colors are so calming and coastal like. Definitely would stay there again in a heartbeat.
