Wonderful place to stay

Well appointed, clean hotel. Built 5 years ago. Great location and they have bikes available which was extremely nice to use. The living room area of the hotel is cozy and the food and staff are great. Chocolate chip cookies left on your bed every night! In my opinion, the nicest place to stay in Newport because the old Inns, the marriott and Gurneys are all musky.

I had a wonderful stay at The Brenton Hotel! The staff went above and beyond to make sure my requests were met, which made the experience feel truly personalized. I loved the thoughtful touches like complimentary non-alcoholic drinks in the room, sparkling water and ice cream in the pantry, and fresh cookies offered every night. The room was cleaned daily, which I really appreciated, and the parking staff were always helpful and attentive. The hotel itself is very aesthetic, modern, and calm—an ideal retreat in Newport. From check-in to check-out, everything felt seamless and welcoming. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Newport.

The location was perfect. We had a balcony with a beautiful view of the harbor. It was very conveniently located and walkable. We also took a boat ride on the Brenton One which was the highlight of our trip. We have nothing but amazing things to say about our stay at The Brenton

Beautiful rooftop views. Easily accessible to water activities i.e ferry rides,harbor tours etc… Tons of dining options that are walkable. Only minor inconvenience was dogs barking. I realize it’s a pet friendly stay however, I felt like I was in a dog kennel . Room was switched without an issue. Staff was attentive and accommodating. All in all a great stay!
