Short concert break
We enjoyed our 1 night stay, the person on reception couldn't have been more polite, accomodatìng or friendly she provided an excellent service all round. We had a few drinks in bar area and was then shown into adjojning restaurant Florence where the food and service was excellent, we were phoned a taxi by receptìonist to take us to a concert at City Hall, breakfast next morning was very nice

Me and my friends stayed for 1 night in this hotel and had an absolutely amazing experience, the lady who checked us in couldn't of been more helpful and friendly. The room had everything we needed and our breakfast was absolutely lovely, the staff were great and i couldnt fault the hotel. We will definitely be returning.

Highly recommend
Perfect for being close to town, and handy having the parking. Fairly basic room but thays all i needed and the proce was great. Absolutely fantastic service, all the staff were really friendly and helpful, and breakfast was included in my stay. For the location i was worried it would be noisy but i had the window open all night and didnt hear any noise at all. Definitely recommend.

It was great value for the price. The room itself was a little dated and in need of an upgrade but the bathroom had been modernised and was perfect. All the staff were very friendly and the breakfast superb! Will definitely go back.

My daughter and I stayed at the Osborne Hotel while visiting Newcastle University for their open day, and we had a wonderful experience! We arrived late the night before, but Laura at reception went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She helped us park and even made sure the nearby restaurant’s kitchen stayed open just for us, as it was almost 10pm. Such thoughtful service! Our room was on the top floor and had two clean and comfortable twin beds, along with a large, modern bathroom that was a pleasant surprise. The next morning, we enjoyed a great full English breakfast, and Kiran in the restaurant was super friendly, sharing helpful tips about the city and university. The location was perfect – just a 15-minute walk to Newcastle University’s campus, and we even strolled to the Quayside in about 30 minutes, passing through some lovely streets. All in all, Osborne Hotel made our trip smooth and enjoyable. Laura’s hospitality really stood out and made us feel at home. I would definitely stay here again!

Lovely, friendly & good value hotel stay.
I was extremely pleased by the excellent value accommodation, which had everything that I needed . The staff were very friendly and the breakfasts were lovely. The hotel is situated in a nice leafy area, with a good availabilty of nearby public transport. (Buses and the Metro) There was a slight late night noise problem from students outside, but I think they were in their Freshers week, as I didnt hear it, for my last two nights. Also, people need to be aware that parking spaces are not always guaranteed, but permits are available if that is the case. The spaces are round the back of the hotel and round the corner. There are no lifts for the guests, so it is best to reserve a room on a lower floor if you have any mobility issues. Overall, I enjoyed a lovely, great value stay.
