There's nothing to like about this place. Dirty, smelly and unsanitary. Im being honest when I say a cruise ship room is much bigger. I teally dont know what pictures they used as certainly not the same place. We only lasted 30m and checked out. Junkies paradise at its best. Wish i had read the reviews prior to booking. NEVER AGAIN...

Staff helpful when room missing milk, remote control and soap which was only available in shower. Woken early by what sounded like drilling noises in morning. Although on busy intersection traffic noise not too noticeable. Advertised as close to John Hunter hospital but was a good 10-15 mins taxi ride.

The room was very small and out dated.the shower recess could have done with a really good clean looked like mildue around the bottom of it.nothing to sit on.no glasses in the fridge the room was supposed to have a queen bed but it was a double.When you pay $111.00 one expects something decent.i would never tell anyone to stay there.

Budget is certainly the word here. There was no hand soap for the sink and not even a teaspoon, you had to stir your coffee with a stick. Coffee cups were supplied but no glasses for water etc. The room seemed clean at first but there was dust all over the floor and what looked like drink stains and hair up the walls. The bathroom was clean, and the shower was hot and plenty of pressure. Air conditioner was fine for heating/cooling. We could not adjust the volume for the TV which was very annoying. The bed was clean and comfortable but that's where it ends. Every door in the place including the bathroom door squeaked loudly. All night you could hear doors from everywhere squeaking when people used them. All night people were in and out making loud noises in the corridors, yelling, laughing outside our door. We stayed for 2 nights and did not get any sleep. There are permanents staying at this hotel and I did not feel safe going in and out especially at night. There is a swipe key for entry in the front door, however the fire door at the other end of the hotel is open constantly, so where is the security?? Even at a budget price this place is not value for money. You get no accessories in your room, and you do not feel comfortable or safe! I would not recommend this place and intend to stay clear of it in the future.

Up front, the General Manager was extremely pleasant and helpful. However, during the stay, the bed sagged in the middle, and the bed underlining was torn and drooping. The GM did say they were planning to replace some of the beds. The room showed age with seam cracks and outdated decor. The wash basin wasn't in the bathroom but sandwiched in the corner of the bedroom which was odd. The modular design of the room and bathroom looked cheap. I do understand that it is budget accommodation, but the room was poky and not as clean as it should have been. Lots of dust behind the TV, plus a spider crawling over my luggage. On the evening of my stay, there was some yelling by somebody out in the car park, which continued unabated for about an hour from around 8 pm. Overall, it would be rated by me a 5 out of 10, and most of that would be for the GM's pleasant attitude.

Very tiny and congested room, hard to walk in the room. Window shed broken. Toilet paper stand broken. So much dust on the bunk bed. No blanket cover. No hand wash. Very very budget quality hotel. Not good for families.
