The staff at the Jewel are better than top notch! Our flight home was delayed and eventually canceled due to weather! Everyone at the front desk went above and beyond to help get us re booked for the extra nights and stay in the same room! The free laundry room on site was a life saver since we ran out of clean clothes because the extended stay! The Jewel will continue to be our Manhatten second home!

Great location right across the street from Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall. Time square is a ten minute walk. Museum of Modern Art is two blocks away. Easy walk to Broadway Shows, subway station and 5th ave/Madison ave shopping. Great pizza two door down, Walgreens right up the street. Helpful front desk staff who were happy to provide directions and subway routes to local activities. Very quiet street. I would definitely stay at the Jewel again.

Very central to sightseeing and trains. If you don’t like crowds, this might not be the place for you because as soon as you walk out there’s many tourist. I loved it because it was closed to Central Park and I could get up and go for a run. The hotel itself was nice, not a lot of room inside your room but if you travel solo it’s just about right. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Wished room would have microwaves and small refrigerator but they do have a common area space with coffee/tea. Loved that they had a washer/dryer fee for guest to use. Overall, I was happy with my stay.

The hotel's location was good but the it didnt have any restaurants or bars. They didnt clean the room when we stayed. I am not a fan of this hotel.

Hotel is in a great location right across Rockefeller center as. 5th Ave shopping. It’s very quiet at night and the staff was very nice and friendly. The rooms were small and no mini fridge in room. Also you had to request daily room service because they do it every other day normally. They did have a nice coffee machine on our floors and a nice lounge area. The hotel is just very narrow in general and everything feels tight and compacted. Overall good stay but will definitely look into a bigger room next time or another hotel just for the extra space.

AC didn't work, switched hotels
Do not get a terrace room, the air-conditioning does not work.The occupancy sensor is obstructed by a wall and tge ac shuts off. Location was great.

Love the Jewel!
The Jewel is one of my favorite places to stay in midtown! The customer service is always great and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The refillable water bottles and lounge area are nice perks too. And you can’t beat the location (right across from Rockefeller Center!).
