This was exactly as promised. Clean, simple and great location. Great staff. My only issue was a substandard bed - too uneven and lumpy. Otherwise a gem for what it is

Cozy place with kind staff only stayed for one night to go to a convention after and it was pretty good.The bed was kinda creaky though and the bathroom was so tiny you couldn’t even close the door without your knees touching the door.The first floor is also a bar so at night if you are near the first floor (which we were) it’s a little loud.

The room was tiny but clean . Was very noisy from 6 am even when I was on the 4th floor. There was no lift so geting suit case to the 4 floor and down by my self was impossible becouse back injury but the fantastic staff carry it for me up and down . I loved the locating . I wanted to extend but was fully booked . I had 2 security cameras over my door ! . I did not like that for privacy speshily when in is shar bathroom that I did not know that . In general was ok for few days for singel girl . The bed was big and clean . I will stay there agin

Perfect location! Good price for Manhattan. I'll definitely stay here again. Nice staff, comfortable bed, AC works well, free bottled water. Downsides - You will sleep through the night, but when everyone starts waking up, ALL the room doors make loud clicking sounds heard throughout the building. The bathrooms are all in the hallways so you hear a ton of doors slamming (just shutting) and I am a DEEP sleeper and had the AC Blasting and still could only sleep by putting in my noise canceling earbuds. I thought it was building maintenance the first night before realizing it was JUST the doors shutting. I didn't mind the shared bathrooms but they didn't have ANY hooks inside to hang your towels or clothes.

The beds were super uncomfortable and the place was very noisy . The restrooms were also dirty and the staff was always somewhere other than the front door .

Great location in midtown- can walk everywhere and the staff is awesome!! Will definitely be coming back to the Flat next time I come to NYC clean rooms- and bathrooms even tho they are shared. Not to mention at night it was silent in my room in the city that never sleeps! 10/10

Convenient and Well Maintained
Great location being only a 10/15 minute walk from Penn Station. 24 hour front desk made an easy check-in at 230am. 👍 Very clean and well maintained building and room.

I loved, loved, loved my stay at The Flat NYC! The staff were so helpful and warm and friendly. Big shout out to Isaac who went above and beyond to make my stay awesome, he was so attentive and caring. Everything is walking distance, subway, restaurants and shopping. I would definitely stay here again, in fact I am in September.
