All of the staff was AMAZING!! The room was VERY small even by NYC standards. Not even a small space to place clothes (no closet, cabinets nothing). The continental breakfast is just that. My room 1705 face an office so no natural light and you can keep the blinds up due to the office people being able to see you. I could see a guy on his computer and could see what was on his screen it's that close.

Good bed and quieter than most nyc hotels; slept well. 8th floor is “superior” and likely quieter than lower floors when cars honk. Very small rooms though and a bit dark such that we lost items, such as a new Handshake AI hot drink container cleared from the counter at the evening wine event Friday 6pm. Cozy hotel, nice to meet felllow travelers at M-F wine &cheese event. House cleaning in lobbies and room was impressive. Comfortable 2nd floor table for work when the room desk is too small. Gym was good to keep up your fitness ; Brooklyn bridge & east river jogging just beyond alphabet city was a scenic change from Central Park.

Clean but small room, typical of new York. Bathroom layout shows lack of thought and design as there is nowhere to place your personal toiletries. No amenities in room. Clean good sleeping quarters. Loud hotel guests easily heard through doors. Frequent noise disturbances during our 4 night stay. Coffee frequently empty at breakfast bar, and on one morning twenty minutes late after posted open time. Overall good, but could use some polish.

Great location-close to many sites, shops & subway stations. Breakfast is included but it’s nothing special—I preferred walking to the various coffee shops close-by. It’s very active during the day and I felt very safe (solo female traveler). Stop by & checkout the small but extensive Printemps dept. store’s perfume & toiletries section for great French products!

A First-Class Stay at FIDI Hotel NYC From the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out, my experience at the FIDI Hotel NYC was nothing short of amazing. The service was truly first-class—every detail felt thoughtfully curated to make guests feel welcome and cared for. Breakfast each morning was a delight, offering a great selection to start the day right. But what really elevated the experience was the complimentary wine and cheese offered on weeknights from 5–7pm—a perfect touch that added charm and relaxation to the evenings. The staff were exceptional across the board: personable, attentive, and genuinely kind. A special shoutout to Shelly, who stood out with her warmth and professionalism—she was simply the best! Thank you, FIDI Hotel, for a memorable stay. I’ll absolutely be visiting again!
