The staff was incredibly nice. The rooms are fine - not luxury, but clean and comfortable. It would have been nice to know that the hotel bar/restaurant was closed for renovations when we made the reservation.

Terrific hotel except for their television system!
This is my third stay at this hotel. I was upgraded so very pleased because some of the rooms are very dark. All the staff were lovely, particularly the front desk — Marco and Maria. But I HATE their television system which gives you only about five English channels and no cable. They assume all guests subscribe individually to Netflix, etc. so if you don't, it's like being in a 1960s hotel room. Otherwise I am happy to recommend The Royalton

Our first night had some struggles (attendant called to help carry up bags but they didn't come, called for towel and they didn't bring them, room's phone batteries were dying so the phone beeped all night). The hotel however remedied this by offering a discount for each night we stayed there. Bed and pillows were very comfy. Convenient location. Clean room.

Gem of a place
One of my best hotel stays in NY in over 35 years of traveling here for business! Extremely comfortable beds and pillows, bedside lights and cubbies, black out drapes, a/c was perfect and great shower too. Not to forget Great staff! And No problem without a restaurant inside there are hundreds out the door in Manhattan to try

Hotel has no services whatsoever (no restaurant no service for issues in the room- tv has 5 channels only) the lobby and restaurant are abandoned and the maintenance people are working as doormen too. The 48 dollars “facility fee” is insulting: what am paying for? Two towels and use of a hairdryer?
