I've stayed several times at this hotel. Love the location, the staff is kind and helpful. Easy to get around NYC, very close to the subway. Lots of places to eat and shop nearby. Loved it!

This hotel is no frills and the rooms feel a bit like a glorified dorm room, but for the price was fine for my travels. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The bed was way too soft and had a dip from overuse. The room overall felt a little dingy but was mostly clean.

My go-to NYC hotel
Arthouse is one of my fave hotels in the city. It's clean, convenient, great location, cool bar & lobby area, good restaurant, friendly service, decent sized rooms, plenty of elevators and its usually reasonably priced compared to similar properties that arent all the way down in mid-town.

The property was well kept and the staff very helpful, friendly. However we had a problem with housekeep/amentities each day of our stay-- they would take all of our used towels/washcloths but then not replace them in the same #'s so we had to ask front desk for new towels, was a pain.
