There was scaffolding on the front of the building throughout my stay. It covered the windows in my room and created a rather dreary environment. I wish that I had known this before booking my Broadway View room. If this might concern you please call the hotel before making a reservation so that you can make an informed decision. The room itself is furnished very basically. There are cabinets with metal locker type doors that have sharp edges. This might not be good for those traveling with young children. On a positive note, the hotel is well located in a very safe neighborhood with easy access to the subway and fantastic eating opportunities.

Rooms were nice for a double. Was not offered free upgrade. Continental breakfast was a free small hot coffee or iced coffee with cold pastry. No butter jam or jelly for plain croissant. Staff was very nice. Serafina restaurant attached was nice. Great late night bar and bites at hotel with outdoor seating.

I could have saved almost $300 by booking directly from the hotel. The room only had bottled water. I was unsure if I would be charged for it.

Had an issue with the charges since the room was downgraded. After the stay, I noticed that I was charged full price for the larger room. Called the hotel numerous times. Transferred to management numerous times. All to voicemail. All voicemail stated that the box was full. Left a message at the front desk numerous times. No one ever called me back. I was basically ghosted. I then disputed the charge amount with my credit card company. I would never stay with them again.
