It was a pleasant stay until the hotel was evacuated due to fire alarm and the entire lobby was flooded could be sewage. Lost a glove to it. No back up plan so we had to wait out in the cold for a few hours until we were allowed back in.

The staff are very friendly and helpful but the maintenance of the room was below par. The room was cold when I arrived so the vent had to be changed, the shower drain was all but plugged with white something, soap? The was cleaned. The toilet handle stayed up when flushed so had to be manually lowered to stop the water running. The plug for the bathroom sink didn’t work when I arrived but this was fixed. The maintenance people were very nice but these things should be checked before each time a guest arrives.

Quiet and convenient location. East access to train. Coffee shop was excellent and we used leftover vouchers to take home macaroons. Room was immaculate, comfortable and spacious. Will definitely stay here for our next trip to NYC

Room was very small for a “ deluxe” room at about $1k a night. Only 2 pillows on each bed - I mean really who still does that. Tried calling from desk - never answered the phone. Final straw was the drain in the shower not emptying- gross !

The hotel is old but nice. Bathrooms are cold as there is not too much heating but the room is good temperature. However it seems that floors barely get washed, spilled some water and when wiped it the towel was black. Otherwise the room was clean. Staff was great, very nice and the restaurant was pretty good. All together nice property and great location.
