Beautiful view. Quiet. Friendly stuff. Caffee place in the building terrible food and caffee. Cheap caffee beans and terrible smell from milk for $6.50. I returned.

The stay was fine; the room was clean & well-appointed - nice view. The pool facilities were outdated; steam room & sauna weren't maintaining heat over about 100 degrees and the pool was closed to hotel guests for hours each day to provide swim lessons. The food at the restaurant is not at all recommended; little taste, definitely frozen & thawed, too expensive for what it was. Luckily it's NYC, so plenty of alternatives in walking distance. About 40 mins to Times Square by car with traffic; I thought it would be easier to get in and out of the city - definitely not walkable.

Maintenance needed

The shower didn’t drain well. They had to come in both days to fix. AC sounded loud. Needed maintenance. Towels were thin and had strings. Only got wash clothes on second day of request. See picture below of hole in curtain Restaurant was good. Maids were nice

Room was clean and tidy/ fine but There was no hair dryer in the room and no hand/hair/face towels. Just 2 bath towels. after the phone to the front desk didn’t work, my husband made a trip to the lobby to request these things but front desk told him we had a dryer (they were wrong) and they’d get more towels sent up. I found a workman to get me a hairdryer from another room and the additional towels never arrived. Also Light on other amenities such as.. no trash can in the bathroom, no face wipes or wash or soap … just dove hand and body wash in the big containers.
