The fire alarm was hanging from the ceilingbwhen we entered our room. When we asked for service, the management promptly sent someone to fix it. The hotel was providing sparkling water free of cost, that was great! I like the vibe in the hotel. It is close to any major attraction- Times Square, Empire State building. The subways are at walkable distance. I will recommend it to my friends and family.

The property is in a great location, just minutes' walk to attractions, restaurants, bars and stores. There is 24-hour coffee, tea and cold water. There is a lovely living-room style sitting area at the bar. The staff is helpful and professional. The room was a little small, but it was clean and comfortable.

The positives included the location and initial cleanliness. The negatives, room wasn't ready at check-in, 5th floor window view was terrible, only two elevators which could only hold 4-5 people at a time, 3 nights with no maid service.

I’ve been staying here for about 3 years now! Truly one of my favorite hotels of all time. The staff is amazing and they always treat my dog with love when I’m there. Top knotch cleanliness, service and the area has everything a tourist or a business person could ask for!

Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Location was fantastic as it wasn’t too close nor too far from the places we wanted to go while in NYC. We felt very safe. My only negative comments are that the elevators are small and there are only two and that the toilet was constantly running due to what seemed to be a broken handle. Will definitely stay again and suggest to other travelers!

We got in late on a Friday night, the hotel had been overbooked and we did not get a great room (2nd floor, small window, no light, basically felt like we were in an inside cabin of a cruise ship)…. The front desk staff had said if the room was not up to our standards, then to come down in the morning to ask to be switched. First thing Saturday morning I asked about being changed and they accommodated us to be moved that afternoon. Everyone was very helpful and the next 2 nights were way better up on the 9th floor. Overall, the stay went well and the location couldn’t be better. It was just my daughter and me this trip in a standard room. There would be no way a family of 3 could be comfortable. If we stayed again and my husband wanted to come, not sure that it would work for us.

Service was outstanding. Room is smaller than I expected but not surprising in New York. Elevator is slow. Shower design is poor so end up with water all over the floor. Everything was clean. Happy hour was a nice touch. Location is great and central. Would stay again.

Staff very courteous and accommodating. I like that they have water bottle filling stations with water bottles to bring with you. Not my first time at a CQ. Won’t be my last.
