Spacious quality master bedroom with ensuite and access out on to the patio where you can watch the sun set, with a glass of wine before tucking yourself into bed for a peaceful nights sleep. Three additional large spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds. Large basement garage with automatic door opener will ensure your cars are safely tucked away while you explore our beautiful city.

Please note the cleaning fee: All linen & towels are provided by a commercial linen company and are professionally laundered. Properties have been cleaned prior to guests arrival to meet the Ministry of Health commercial cleaning standards. A part end of stay cleaning service is included. This covers the cleaning of bathrooms, mopping and rubbish removal. Guests are required to leave the property in a tidy and clean state all dishes are washed/the dishwasher loaded and turned on prior to departure.

All Bach Break properties come well equipped with cooking oil, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, milk, cleaning products, dishwasher tablets, dishwashing liquid, toilet paper, liquid hand soap and body wash.

Other Details:

The property is very well equipped with most things you will need on holiday. If you use a hair dryer we ask that you bring one with you as hair dryers aren't supplied.

Beach Stay
Fantastic large 2 storey home looking over the road to the beach. Easy walk to town. Easy to book and good communication throughout. Perfect property for our family stay. Property just needs a little TLC - peeling wallpaper and clean up of back yard. This however did not affect our stay in the slightest.

Lots of space. All good . the oven we couldn’t get to work, but it wasn’t a biggie just worth telling you. Great location for getting around the city as we just walked to most places.

A little tired but that is reflected in the price. Mirrors in the bedrooms would be handy, as well as some basics such as paper towels in the kitchen and a coffee plunger but all in all, a great place to stay.

Stunning Oceanfront View - Easy Walk to Downtown
We loved this place. Entire wall facing the ocean is windows, plus spacious veranda with table to enjoy view from outside. The street in front is actually a quiet, residential street. Locals park there and then walk into to town to work, etc. which is fine. Parking is super easy because the house includes a 2+ car garage. It was also a great place to keep the bikes we rented overnight. 3 spacious bedrooms plus a nice but smaller 4th. Couch is comfortable for sleeping if needed. Huge living/kitchen area, all with ocean views. Easy access to famous waterfront bike/walking path. You can close doors to hallway to bedrooms for excellent privacy/noise buffer from living area. Garage door opening allowed us to easily pull in and park our minivan. French press coffee maker provided, plus hot pot and instant coffee. We would happily stay there again!

We spent the weekend mesmerized by the ocean just outside the window during the recent cyclone. On the whole,the house met our expectations except for the very poor mattress on the sofa bed in the lounge.

Great location with just biking everywhere. Very poorly maintained house, some of the doors and windows wouldn’t open due to hinges stuffed. Sleeping for 10 people and that’s all the plates and knife and forks u got. So always having to set dishwasher. Don’t have visitors for tea. The back area of the section where u hang out the washing is so overgrown. Plus is great views.

Best spot in New Plymouth
10 out of 10 for views in this property. Location is great, walked into town along the sea/cycle walkway. Large space for family groups to gather and watch the ships coming in and out of the harbour. Soothing sound of the waves at night. Will definately be back and this time with our family from Australia as well who couldnt be there due to Covid.
