I would’ve enjoyed it if I didn’t have the loft room. I recently had had knee replacement surgery and I have spinal stenosis. I can’t go up and downstairs so the bedroom was upstairs. The bathroom was downstairs and I can’t do that but it looks like a beautiful place. We canceled our reservations there and did not stay.
Liked the walkable art museum up the trails.
Evening dinner was great. Halibut really good.
Was told in evening that we did not have to make a reservation for breakfast, but found out next morning that they could not accommodate our breakfast. Seemed like they were short-staffed.
Lovely getaway in the country. Our room was older and dated, but clean and comfortable. The restaurant was fantastic. We didn't take advantage of the trails because of the weather. We would stay there again if we could have a newer room.
We loved our stay, however were a bit disappointed with the restaurant. Apparently the chef and one waitress were working. As a result the number of diners was limited. Additionally, I thought that while the food was good, it was overpriced.
We had an 'okay' stay. Nothing incredible, room was no nicer than a regular hotel but it was twice the price. The property was nice and well kept though.
Unfortunately amenities that were advertised in their suite as included were not, like a mini fridge/coffee pot. Addressed this with staff and sadly nothing was done to remedy the situation causing all of our Amish meats/cheeses to be inedible costing us over $100 in losses. Because of this we had no cheeses or meats to bring back from our visit like we do each year.
The room was nice and spacious, the bed was comfortable and large enough. The Wi-Fi connection was the worst we have ever experienced in any hotel/Inn/B&B in Amish country. It was cold and rainy while we were there so we were looking forward to watching some of our favorite TV series' on a tablet we brought, but we continuously lost wifi signal and the movie selection was okay but nothing great. All in all our stay was okay, just not what we expected or wanted.
