Please take note of the following policies to ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay:
• Extra Guests: For groups larger than 8, an additional fee of $35 per person, per day applies. This fee helps cover the added liability, wear and tear, and cleaning required. The maximum occupancy is 10 guests.
• Hot Tub: While we strive to maintain the hot tub in excellent condition, please be aware that unexpected maintenance issues can arise, and its availability cannot be guaranteed 100% of the time.
• Dock Access: This property does not include access to a dock.
• Parties & Events: We do not permit parties or events at our home. This policy ensures the comfort and security of all guests, protects the property, and respects the peace of our surrounding community.
• No Pets: To maintain a clean and allergen-free environment, pets are not allowed.
• No Weapons: For the safety of all guests, weapons are strictly prohibited on the property.
• Noise Policy: To preserve the tranquility of the area, all outdoor music and noise must end by 10 PM.

THINGS TO DO AT ATWOOD LAKE
Activity Center | A wide array of programs, games and nature center can be found in the activity center. Not to mention, camp store, concessions and laundry facilities.
Alive Festival | Attended by thousands annually, this annual Christian Music Festival is home to the top Christian music artists and speakers every year in July.
Atwood Area Fall Festival | From games and food to entertainment and homemade crafts, there is truly “Something for Everyone” at this festival held at Atwood Lake Park the first weekend of October.
Basketball Court | “Ball-up” and enjoy a fun game of basketball with friends or other campers.
Beach | The swim beach provides a great way to cool down throughout the summer! Now featuring WhoaZone Atwood Lake, an on water ninja obstacle course. If you are looking for a relaxing swim, a portion of the swimming area with several small water toys is open to all campers and daily visitors. Get a bite at the Concession Stand, and enjoy all the summer offers with family and friends. Beach hours are Memorial Day- Labor Day: Monday - Thursday 11am-7pm. Friday - Sunday 10am-7pm. There is a fee to enter the park and the beach, $5 for a single occupant and $10 for a car of 2 or more occupants.
Camping | with over 600 lots, we have a view for you. We have areas designed for groups, as well as beautiful lake-side lots right on the water. We also have sites close to several amenities including clean bathhouses, playgrounds, large green open areas, and other recreational sites.
Car Show | held on the Sunday of the Atwood Area Fall Festival, the annual car show draws hundreds and hundreds of unique, high quality cars to Atwood Lake Park.
Concession Stand | From juicy hamburgers, to plump hot dogs, to over 24 flavors of creamy soft-serve ice cream, to a host of other highly tasty treats, we have it all at our beach concession stand open during beach hours.
Dog Park | Even the dogs have a wonderful place to play and enjoy the park leash-free. With our benches, doggie and two-legged companion water fountain, both you and your dog will have a great time. Fireworks | Throughout the summer, nothing says fun like lots of fireworks. Enjoy the colorful spectacular the last night of the Alive Festival and Fourth of July. Beautiful colors and sound abound over the park and lake.
Fishing Pier | located at the end of the beach parking lot, the pier is a wonderful place to fish for people with young children, and is ADA accessible. Don’t have a boat? No problem! Take your poles, plenty of bait, and enjoy a wonderful day of fishing.
Fourth of July Weekend | Atwood Lake Park comes alive with music, games, and of course fireworks. Make a day of the festivities or stay and camp for the entire week or weekend. Either way, you and your family are sure to have a wonderful time.
Native American Pow Wow | This festive event at the Atwood Area Fall Festival in October is an annual crowd pleaser. From the bright head-dresses, to ceremonial dances, this Native American Pow-Wow is always fun.
Observation Tower | a fabulous place to overlook the park, half of the lake, and enjoy a tree-top view. Any season of the year is a wonderful, new experience and sites, up high on the tower.
Open Green Areas | For naps, games, or picnics, come enjoy lots of green, open space in the natural setting of Atwood Lake Park.
Picnic Pavilions | the large picnic pavilions are a great place to host a family or class reunion, birthday party, wedding reception or any other celebration. With four pavilions located throughout the park, have your next event right at Atwood Lake Park.
Playgrounds | Kids have plenty of playgrounds to play on at Atwood Lake Park. With three different playgrounds, your child is sure to find a fun place to play.
Programs | From arts and crafts, to bands, to educational and nature programs, to contests, to new programs, to Festivals, everyone can find something to do while camping or visiting at Atwood Lake Park.
Sand Volleyball | What a great way to spend a day…sand volleyball with your friends and family. With two sands courts, you and your friends can bump, set, and spike your day away at the park.
Shower Facilities | Don’t worry if you are all sandy, smelly, or dirty…we have some well-lit, warm, and clean shower facilities just for you. With plenty of stalls, everyone can be sure to enjoy the day and still clean-up for a wonderful campground dinner.
Shuffleboard Court | enjoy this old-fashioned game with friends or campers located near the Camper Pavilion and the Activity Center.
TearStock Festival | The Tearstock Rolling Home Tour takes place annually in late-July at the park. Teardrop Campers/Trailers invade the park for a wonderful, fun week of activities.
Trails/Hikes | Enjoy nature’s beauty on the multiple natural surfaced trails or simply hike through the park. Plenty of wildlife and natural beauty are sure to enhance the experience. Looking for something faster paced? These trails are great for a jog and a great day of exercise. Maps are available at the Welcome Center so get planning your hike now. Trails are located inside the Atwood Lake park, which requires a fee of $5 for a single occupant car and $10 for 2 or more.
Nearby Marina and Restaurant | Atwood Lake Boats and the Bistro will take care of all your boats rentals and provides an excellent restaurant for all hungry boaters.
