We walked into a travel back in time where we were greeted by a very welcoming hostess at a desk and a cat. We were directed to the right where there was a beautiful parlor with a piano, guitar, fireplace, snacks, hot tea, coffee, fresh nectarine and other accoutrements. We took the tiniest elevator to our floor and walked into our room which was another time travel experience. The room had beautiful vintage furniture and decor, a stunning balcony view, but had touches of modern items like a TV and toiletries, fresh towels, a clean aesthetic in general. The room smelled fresh however the noise outside was noticeable thankfully we brought our earplugs. We knew we were staying on the cusp of the French quarter so it would be noisy but we had no trouble sleeping regardless. We mostly enjoyed walking around the entire property feeling like we were investigating an old home and had such fun discovering all the different items on the wall in the nooks and crannies different rooms and you have to find the rooftop view of the city It's so stunning! everyone we interacted with was kind and helpful and we counted about six different cats around the property which was the majority of the reason we chose this place. the location was excellent We walked all over the French quarter and it was a nice sanctuary to return to after all the crazy musical city had to offer. I highly recommend staying here and we wish we could have stayed longer!
