The buildings and rooms were unique and private. I wish we could have used the pool but we were a little self conscious because of all the young adults.

Good value for the price!
The overall experience was good for the price. They have a full kitchen and a laundry room which were very convenient. They provided good customer service. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived so they gave us an upgrade.The room was clean and the bathroom as well. The house needs better maintenance & cleanliness.

I'd say the only one down fall I can actually say is the private rooms should offer a mini fridge for beverages and the property should address the locking mechanisms on all the bathrooms since it's considered co-ed.

A Bohemian Paradise
Don't expect luxury. It's a fun and hip place to stay, Great if your on a budget. Convenient for travel into town. Good eats nearby.

The property is a bit dated and worn, but the staff work very hard to upkeep and maintain as very clean! Shared bathrooms always clean, although 1 night out of 4, there was no hot water. Vibes are great, very bohemian and friendly. Room was very basic but sufficient, with a wall AC unit, full length mirror, full sized bed with sheets and pillows, 1 towel per person, and 1 table. Super well connected with the streetcars and plenty of dining options within walking distance, although don't wander too far unless you know where you're going. Love Taj Mahal the house cat! Cheap and cheerful!

Great environment full of art and friendly people. I do worry sometimes in fun places like this that important things like cleanliness are overlooked but I had no complaints. Great place at a good price!
