I didn't catch his name, but the gentleman working security/porter (I believe?) on my check in day of Wednesday, 11/6 was so kind and did a great job of giving us a little tour of the hotel and cafe. I also didn't catch the name of the person who checked me in (they had a rougarou sticker on their water bottle) was also really welcoming and seemed happy to be there. Great location, super walkable. Area was quiet at night. The walls of the hotel are thin, and I was woken up one night around 2am by a bunch of drunk women being loud and slamming their door. But the hotel, like all the buildings, is old, and it IS New Orleans! :) I didn't complain because there was no need. I would stay again. Thank you!

After a long drive, we easily pulled into the hotel’s private parking and we were greeted by friendly staff who helped us unpack the car, check in at the lobby and go to our room. The hotel is beautiful, clean and the pool was refreshing. We loved our street balcony with a large table to dine at on a quiet weekday evening. We will come again.

This is a wonderful hotel and it’s only a half block from Bourbon St. If you’re looking for a cute hotel in the heart of Bourbon St, you should stay here. The staff is wonderful and gave great dining recommendations.

Beautiful hotel right by the strip. Motorcycle friendly for us - good tip and then free motorcycle parking. Slightly dated but great service even brought us a bottle of champagne for our birthdays !!

The staff, especially Lonnie and the valet crew were phenomenal! All made us feel right at home! The property is full of the charm and character of old New Orleans yet equipped with modern amenities. Our room was BIG, clean, with comfortable beds, only complaint was a few light bulbs out and no electricity to the night stand (chargers, clock…) The courtyard pool was magical! There are cafe/dining/bar options for everyone. Definitely looking forward to our next stay at the Hotel St. Marie.

We paid extra for a balcony room and 2 people couldn’t sit outside. Pitiful. The courtyard (which was nice) became a gathering spot for our family since no one could sit on the balcony. The smell of mildew permeated the air in our room. Our clothes in our suitcase were wet because the room was so damp. Our family paid for 5 rooms and I was embarrassed because I booked it. I do not recommend this hotel.

Very welcoming environment. You feel like family immediately. Beds and pillows are great, especially if you like big fluffy pillows. Conveniently located to everything, though it is a little bit of walking to get to the public transport lines for sightseeing. Overall, very, very pleased!!!

A hidden gem
I loved the location and customer service. A beautiful boutique hotel. Secure parking. The swimming pool courtyard area is very beautiful. We loved the bar/restaurant and the workers. Will definitely stay here again.

Book this hotel, it was amazing, the place looks exactly like the pictures, the coffee shop in the hotel was great, every morning with there cheese danishes, chocolate croissant and cookies but the lattes are amazing, the air worked well, the pool was clean with towels fully stocked, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. When i return again i will definitely be staying at this hotel.
