I didn't catch his name, but the gentleman working security/porter (I believe?) on my check in day of Wednesday, 11/6 was so kind and did a great job of giving us a little tour of the hotel and cafe. I also didn't catch the name of the person who checked me in (they had a rougarou sticker on their water bottle) was also really welcoming and seemed happy to be there. Great location, super walkable. Area was quiet at night. The walls of the hotel are thin, and I was woken up one night around 2am by a bunch of drunk women being loud and slamming their door. But the hotel, like all the buildings, is old, and it IS New Orleans! :) I didn't complain because there was no need. I would stay again. Thank you!

The hotel is truly historic and half a block off the bustle of Bourbon Street. We could not have asked for a better location. It lived up to my expectations in every way.

Good location Very old, unkept, we saw a mouse outside of dining room, plugs didn’t work, the maid didn’t make the room but she was clever enough to hang the’do not disturb’ sign on my door , the elevator didn’t work had to use the service elevator VERY DISSATISFIED

Located in French Quarter minutes from Bourbon St. Safe, walking distance to original Cafe Monde, restairant served best beans and rice, Joseph valet attendant was very sweet and helpful. There was an issue with charging me for an extra day of parking but the front desk wwre very quick to rectify and the credit came through in 24 hours. Room was spacious with two comfortable clean queen size beds. Nice size walk in shower. Easy access to everything. A big shout out to the lady in the restaurant for keeping jer cool and making sure all the giests were fed and watered during the hurrocane qarning and suvsequent tropical storm which caused many restaurants to closed. Sorry I didnt get her name. She was terrific.

I had the most amazing stay at Hotel St. Marie. The hotel was so centrally located but quiet. The room was spacious and comfortable. And the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! A hurricane changed my travel plans and the hotel was so helpful and flexible and understanding. I hope to come back to New Orleans and to only ever stay here. I recommend to anyone visiting the city! What a gem!

The staff was kind and accomodating. However both beds had damp sheets and pillow cases put on them. We tried to leave the beds pulled apart to dry during the day and like dummies forgot to put do not disturb on the door. So we came back from a Haunted city tour at 12:30 am to wet sheets. It made sleeping very uncomfortable both nights we were there. The coffee shop is kinda gross, the couch in the business/waiting area is soiled on the arm rests and where a head would rest. These things would keep me from coming back a third time. First visit 5 years ago was not like this. Also, not by any fault of the hotel but the FQ is getting so much worse with homeless sleeping every where, yelling at you for no reason and asking for money. I've never seen a city close to this bad and I travel often. It's gross. The scabby drug addicts coming up to me and my child at night was frightening to say the very least.

Check in staff was amazing and accommodating. Jadia was super friendly and helpful. Valet was amazing as well. I would definitely stay here again. The hallways to the room were muggy and hot but other than that it was a pleasant stay
