Precious place!! I would suggest that staff at least turn the room ac on (even if at a higher temp) during the louisiana summer months. My place was pretty stuffy when I arrived. Otherwise, the place was precious, the room and common areas were CLEAN, and i had everything i needed!
Absolutely love this stay! Plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. There was even a street car right outside of our stay. The owner is very nice The place was well kept and also quiet
A class act all the way. Remote check-in was a breeze. While not always there in person, the hosts are there every step of the way by email and texts. A real treasure to find.
We had a wonderful time during our stay. Right in front of a street car stop so it’s easy to ride to the French quarter. Staff was wonderful. If we ever come back to New Orleans we will stay here.
This is my second time staying here. And it is just as good as the first time I remember. Although it’s new management now it’s still just as great. And the online room key and passcode is great! Just a little long 😂
The staff was spot on, kind and friendly as we went through two rainstorms that knocked out power and took systems offline. Staff was right there with support and solutions. Such a convenient location when you learn the bus and trolley system. We will stay here again.
Located right next to Trolley stop on the St. Charles line and with a number of nice restaurants nearby, this quaint hotel is very nice and clean and imparts a feeling of old New Orleans to your stay! The staff is excellent.

Disliked: Amenities
Let’s start with the good. Convenient to trolly. It’s right outside. Room was incredibly clean. Staff while not onsite was always reachable and incredibly nice. Towels were fluffy and shower was hot! Price was reasonable.
Now the bad…internet nor tv worked continuously. Bed was awful. Too gushy, so much so you couldn’t move. Air conditioning worked but it seemed to never cool room completely.
Not a horrible experience but because of the bed, I wouldn’t book again.
What I like about the property is that it is quiet and peaceful. The only con was my room did not have a window, only in the bathroom and the AC unit location. I wish the room had a ceiling fan installed as a cooling option. Overall, I enjoyed my weekend visit and had a positive experience! The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Disliked: Staff & service
Though the rooms were clean it did not meet safety standards. Our safe would not open the next day and our friends safe in their room did not work at all. We waited all morning to have a service person come. They did not have the security key to access the safe and after quite a bit of time they eventually were able to contact the head guy only to say that they would have to watch a video to try and figure it out. Eventually it was opened but we could not trust leaving our passport or money in the safe. The manager said they would be replacing all the safes in the rooms as this was a problem!!! She should have told us in the beginning. We missed our tour that we had arranged for that morning while waiting around for the service guys and it took up the time we were able to spend in New Orleans as we were leaving on a cruise the next morning. If it had happened the day of our cruise we would have missed our cruise. They were very hard to contact as there was only someone there from 12-8 each day. We could only leave a message on their phone with no one getting back so we had to phone several times to find out what they were going to do to help us.
The manager said that we would be compensated for this but we never were …Like wiping their hands clean after we left with a smile. Not a good place to stay.
