It's hard for me to wright a negative review because the staff was welcoming accept for a front desk agent by the name of Navajoa. I believe front desk is the main face of a hotel. She made me feel unwelcomed uncomfortable and the two times I felt with her I felt like I was bothering her. Had to unscrew light bulb on lamp to turn off. Vent/fan in bathroom ran intermittently and not when it was actually needed (to help remove steam from shower). Was on 2nd floor and had 1/2 moon window…the slats in the window were broken with one missing. Light from underside of roof was a spot light into the room. Had to used pillows and coat to help block light. Overall terrible maintenance and care of room. Also be aware of extra charges and tax. If you tell a person the parking fee is specific price, It should be that price, not later having an extra charge to a credit card for taxes. If that’s the case, explain this to begin with and not when I questioning the charge (only to push a sign in my face telling me there was tax. If there’s tax, fine but please don’t state this and then act like I’m an idiot for not reading a random sign on the desk (and I say random bc no one directed my attention to it when i was told about parking charges). Other than the person pushing a sign in my face and acting like I was the idiot, all other staff was nice.

The entire staff was friendly and courteous. The hotel is nice and in a good location for what we wanted to see and do. The breakfast was good. As and added note, we were very pleased that the city has make a solid effort to clean up and keep the area clean and address the homeless issue compared to our last visit 8 years ago.
