It’s not in the prettiest immediate area, but it has easy driving access to everything. The hotel inside is gorgeous, spacious, and green. We loved our stay there. It was the best part of New Haven!

Everything was good. The only issue I has was the temperature control in the room did not work. However, I reported it the management and it was fixed. Overall, the stay was great

Place is decent but for $250 plus definitely not worth it. They smoking something ive stayed in places for under $100 wayyyyyyyyy nicer, cleaner, with more friendly and helpful staffs. It was HOT as hell in that place. I WOULD NEVER STAY AGAIN. Only stayed because all other places where booked. So very poor facilities and staff. Wayyyyy OVERPRICED AND HOT

What a beautiful building and what a well done hotel. The rooms are spacious and the bar and lounge area and very stylish. The hotel basically sits on IKEA’s parking lot in a one-of-a-kind architectural gem. The center of New Haven are a short walk or drive from the hotel. I deduct one star because we had some issues with the room’s temperature and lights which could not be immediately solved.

Excellent place, I alway wanted to stay here the first time I saw it. I grow up in New Haven and I was always fascinated with the shape of this building. Of course it was not a hotel in the past. Love it, I will not be staying anywhere else when I come home!

My room wasn't ready when I arrived, by the way, I've arrived one hour after check in time. The front desk girl friendly told me that we needed about 10 minutes to be ready. After that the room was ready. Excelent room, nice view and amazing design. I' ll visit The Marcel again

Nice hotel and yummy restaurant.
Very clean and eco friendly. Lights were only serviceable from keypad near door. We needed a light switch for lamp by bed. Also, no plug in middle of two beds.

This is an outstanding hotel. Great location, near the New Haven train station, with nice views of the harbor. Wonderful facilities and staff. Great safety features, including controlled access to room floors.
