"This property is beyond fantastic! Everything is as described, but better! The beds were very comfortable and the water was nice and hot. We loved being at the end of the lane and in such a private area. Listening to the ocean every morning was heaven. The pool was such a fun extra! We fell in love with the people of the island and we have never met such kinder people! Everyone is so responsive! Thank you for everything!"

"If you are looking for a beautiful, serene getaway this is it! The property is exactly as advertised. Comfortable beds, bright big bathroom, full kitchen for all your cooking / bbq needs, plus Marianna had many extras waiting for us on arrival such as coffee/tea, snacks, bottles of water and cold bubbly! Marianna (host) was great with all communication and answered any questions that we had. She arranged a contact to pick us up for the airport (close by), help us grab some groceries and check in with us throughout our stay. Big shout out to Donna ! A bright welcoming personality that kept us smiling all week long :) And to her puppy Babu! The beach is stunning, lounge chairs, beach towels and floaties all available. Kayaked into the mangroves and had a turtle escort us out :) Sunsets did not disappoint. We did pop next door to the Fernandez Bay Resort for a lunch and a dinner (which was excellent) and to the Tiki Bar for the odd refreshment. Also recommend renting a car for a day or two and explore the island. So many beautiful beaches to explore... just watch for potholes, lol. If you're looking for a very laid back, peaceful beach vacation where you are looking just to relax with no fuss, this is it. If the stars align we will be back. Note: if the bugs/mosquito's like you make sure you bring some bug spray for early morning and evenings."

"We enjoyed a splendid vacation at the Banana Wind house. Lovely beach and grounds. The house was perfect for the two of us. The caretaker, Harrison, as very helpful and brought us the biggest lobster tail we had ever seen! We hope to return another time. "

"We fell in love with this property and Cat Island! The house is exactly as pictured and described. It was clean and had everything we needed for a week’s stay. If seclusion is what you’re after this is the spot for you! We seen two other people on the beach the entire time we were here. Leslie was an amazing host! She had lots of tips for snorkeling spots and restaurants to grab a bite to eat. We had some storms that knocked out the power, when it came back on we discovered a couple breakers were flipped, Leslie responded quickly and reset everything to get us going again. Will definitely be visiting Pigeon Cay and Sundance again in the future!"
