We stayed here 25 years ago and again last week. The place was nice and clean. We didn’t have much interaction with staff but all went well. There were some noisy (generators) RV’s parked right under the rooms for a couple of nights but I think they were asked to move a little farther away. The small bed wasn’t very comfortable and bounced so much when one of us moved that we had to sleep in separate beds while there. I also had to unplug both the fridge and microwave at night because of the noise and light shining at the beds. There was plenty of hot water for the showers and the room was big. We stayed there 5 nights and never did have housekeeping come into our room, but I guess since Covid that’s not too unusual. There aren’t many places to eat in the area if you want to visit Old Nauvoo because they open late and close early so it was Casey’s gas station just like 25 years ago or you could drive into Keokuk about 25 minutes away but Casey’s actually had good pizza and breakfast items available. Overall a nice, close place to stay when visiting Old Nauvoo.
