Well, we were very impressed when we first arrived.
The room is on the first floor and huge with a beautiful mural on Nashville on the wall. And it has a mini fridge and microwave.
The check in process was super easy and the desk staff has been friendly throughout.
The location is perfect, literally across the street from the entrance to Opryland and a couple blocks from Opry Mills.
But…when we checked in, we learned the beautiful indoor pool pictured in the ad was out of order. Wish this was made public on their site.
Also, there are floor fans constantly running through the halls. Odd. And loud.
So, I developed a really weird cold/sinus event that I couldn’t shake. I thought it was an allergy reaction to the feather pillows.
It wasn’t until our last night that I learned what has my allergies angry.
I noticed a German roach in the tub as I was getting ready for the Opry. Killed it, thinking it was a one-off.
When we returned from the Opry and turned the lights on, roaches scattered. I always have this type of allergic reaction when German roaches are near.
So, I didn’t make a stink because we got in after midnight and are leaving first thing in the morning. But it makes me ill thinking we ate their free breakfast here. I’ll let them know when we check out but I’m definitely leaving the lights on tonight. Gross!!!
