Beautifully renovated historic condo on Music Row in midtown Nashville, Spence Manor was Nashville's first 'Diamond Hotel', that attracted celebrities from across the world in the 70s. Most notably, Spence Manor was Elvis Presley's location of choice when recording at historic RCA studio B right across the street. Owned by legendary artist manager Dale Morris, artists like Alabama, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, and many more have all spent time in this presidential suite whether it was a layover between tour dates, or working on music together. Enjoy the Guitar shaped pool (seasonal) designed by Webb Pierce, which also has a propane grill guests are free to enjoy.

Once provided with the giant list of must dos and cleaning items at check in, I double checked and indeed I had paid a hefty “service” fee. The place smelled, I wiped out our bathroom drawers as they had hair in them, no dish clothes, towels or sponge was provided. We made do with paper towels so as to meet owners cleaning requirements in the kitchen. The freezer was kinda gross, we avoided that as much as possible. There was barely enough laundry soap to do the required laundry in order to meet the owner’s requirements, but I think it was close. We were never warned that the pool was empty. The whole family, 90 degrees and no pool on vacation. The owner seemed unbothered. In general, this place reminded me of how much I missed getting ripped off by hotels…at least they don’t make us do laundry.

This was a fantastic place to stay all the way around! The unit is in the historic Spence Manor. The building’s history is so cool, and it was a lot of fun finding out about the building and walking down the same halls where a plethora of music legends had been. The property manager was very communicative and very prompt with answers to any questions. Check-in, check-out and parking were incredibly easy. The unit was fantastic. Very clean, nice furnishings, and everything was provided for a great stay! The building is in a safe part of town and in a great location to easily get to a variety of places in Nashville. I highly recommend this unit and can’t wait to come back!

Brought my teenage son and his girlfriend to Nashville for a concert at the Ryman. This apartment was perfect for us. The rooms are very spacious. Check in was a breeze. Parking was no problem. Location worked well for us. We walked everywhere. Host was easily accessible if needed. The building itself and elevator are a little dated but the apartment is fantastic. It was completely updated and very clean. Bed was very comfortable and I loved the provided shampoo/conditioner so much I’m ordering some for myself. Would absolutely recommend and would gladly stay again.

Our family has been traveling for medical treatment for our son, to and from Nashville, so the location close to Vanderbilt was a huge help! The home was easy to access. Home was clean, which is very important to us, as our child has an immune disorder. The beds, sooooo comfy! The condo had everything we needed. We couldn’t use the pool given its winter, so I can’t speak on that. Parking was good. Area was safe, we did walk to dinner one night. We had some loud neighbors the first night, but our host for this location took care of this promptly and no other issues! Everything was great. The only thing my son pointed out was he wishes there was a TV in the room he slept in or a bigger TV in the other bedroom, as it’s very small for the size of the room. He had to recover from treatment so laying down and watching a movie was what he so wanted to do, but we made the sofa comfy and we worked it out. Also, the kitchen doesn’t have an oven, just a counter conventional oven. Everything is on one floor, stairs or elevator make it a fast trip to and from room! Thanks again!
