Great location, not a 4 star room
Location was fantastic! Room was small even for 2 people. The bed was setup facing the window which made space very hard to come by. Tv was awkwardly to the left of the bed. Sink was very slow draining, no closet space (just a small bar), lighting was terrible in the bathroom and in the room. Not the 4 star room I would have expected for that price.

I usually don’t take the time to post reviews but now feel it necessary. We were checked into the top floor of the hotel on arrival and were looking forward to the view, but instead were treated to 3 days of “drilling and hammering noises” constantly during the day from the roof. No opportunity to sleep in or relax with an afternoon nap. Upon complaining to the front desk they responded by “taking care” of my food and beverage costs from the previous night which barely amounted to much. NOT ACCEPTABLE. After much “back and forth” and finally speaking with the “manager”I was “comped” for two nights of my stay in addition to the food and beverage charges. I was offered another room, but at the time of the offer I was told that a “large group” was coming in that afternoon so they couldn’t provide another room until they were all checked in. But that consumed another whole day of unrelenting construction over the ceiling of our room. Again unacceptable. My last complaint is the fact that most hotels will place a “hold “ for incidentals” - however this Cambria property placed a hold for each day, significantly inflating my “pay at check in” on my card. Again, unnecessary in my opinion and an unreasonable amount. I have stayed at many Cambria properties in the past, but this experience ends my desire to ever book their properties again. If you know there’s roof construction ongoing, then common sense tells you DONT BOOK ANYBODY ON THE FLOOR DIRECTLY BELOW. Cambria - DO BETTER!!!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was pretty clean. My only complaints are pretty minor ones. The pillows weren't very comfortable, and the towels are kind of scratchy. The sattelite for the TV was having issues while we were there but not the hotel's fault. Though, it did give the option to cast from our phones but it never worked. We really did enjoy our stay. It is conveniently located just off Broadway. So, we were able to walk everywhere. But we weren't close enough to have any issues with nosie. Will probably stay here agin if we are ever back in Nashville.
