Great location if you are visiting the area, nice hotel with amenities, we stayed there for 1 night with lake view, the snow came down overnight a little, the ground was covered with snow, very different scenery from the day we checked in. Will stay there again. Good breakfast and dinner.
Beautiful very comfortable hotel with views of Lake Myvatn. Clean, staff is attentive and the restaurant had nice choices. Breakfast buffet was great! You can leave a wake up call for Northern Lights viewing.
This was a gorgeous stop over at Lake Myvatn. Hotel is very well kept and the restaurant was delicious for dinner and breakfast. They also have a late night happy hour which was a pleasant surprise, having a night cap overlooking the lake was fabulous.
It’s a good hotel but not for people with allergies. The have carpet flooring and there is noway of having fresh air coming into the room because of huge number of flies outside. Putting screens would be a good fix.
They need to get new sheets as well. Lots of fabric pills on the sheet to the point I felt them on my skin the whole time. Reservation was for 2 nights but we left early after the first night due to my son’s allergies and room being on the warm side.
A third-rate property at best with an overpriced restaurant with poor service. At least it was quiet.
Hair from a previous guest was left in the bath and a light fixture fell apart while using the sink. Staff are poorly trained in terms of customer service.
