The property although old is very clean, Danial at check in and check out was amazing. The breakfast was very good and the staff was amazing . Only one problem, no hot water in the morning for a couple of hours , upon telling the front desk , he was very dismissive and said it just happens, not acceptable .

Staff was very helpful and attentive. Parking was super easy. Property was well located and clean with a good breakfast buffet. Well stocked room and bath. Noise from the side street was a bit loud at times during the early morning hours.

Fantastic 500 year old hotel right in old city. Everything is incredibly accessible by walking. Great food, museums, sights and shopping right out the front door. Breakfast was phenomenal and included with our suite. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering visiting Munich. Our best hotel stay in Europe so far

Hotel Torbrau is a friendly well run hotel with a great location. It’s about a five minute walk to Marienplatz, and the S-Bahn with direct links to the airport and main train station is a block away. My single room was compact, but clean and quiet. I especially appreciated the staff at the excellent breakfast who went out of their way to make their guests feel welcome in a room with a view of the Isartor.
