Food is good. Maintenance is poor though. The washbasin was getting choked and the temperature of the water in the shower was inconsistent. Afzal at the salon is very competent and so is the head chef in the restaurant.

Stayed in the club lounge. No stranger to this Hotel great potential but underutilised....club lounge closed since COVID but rooms still given out with " access to Executive lounge". Nice hotel but surrounded by slums....nice staff, friendly and good breakfast food.

The hotel staff broke out luggage during check in while they were scanning our luggage, we brought the issue to the manager and manager denied next day, we asked them to check camera's as well and we told them we don't need money back, we just asked for help with our luggage but staff denied, worst experience, highly recommend dont offer this hotel even on your website.

Have stayed at the orchid a few times before. This time, I wasn't as happy as previous times. The electric water kettle seemed to have some issue, so not only did it not boil water for tea etc., but you got a small current when you touched the kettle. Ordered food from room service. One of the items ordered was paratha and it showed paratha on the bill but when opened everything, it looked more like an ordinary roti/chapati
