Rooms are a lot nicer than expected. Lots of parking. Appreciated having a fridge in the room. But there’s only one shared microwave for the entire hotel and it’s in the lobby

Room are extremely small and bathroom was stinking throughout the stay due to smell from drain . Limited facilities, with no escalators. Very basic setup and room are unwelcoming . No information on wifi or food or attractions around . It’s all industrial area around and at night and evenings it feels unsafe . Management does not take any responsibility for break in or vandalism. No security on premises.

The property was at a convenient location. It was clean, the staff very friendly, and the included breakfast was suffice. What I didn't appreciate was that I spoke with the housemaid to tell him I was leaving in ten minutes. Upon my return, the room wasn't made and there no packets of fresh coffee.

Very Nice
The room was clean and comfortable, one of the lights was burnt out in the bathroom and the Bolt lock on the door did not work. Overall, it was pleasant stay and the front desk staff were pleasant to deal with .

It's a really old property. The carpets are stained and the hotel carpet and hallway has a noticeable cigarette smell. It's located at an intersection and it's sometimes difficult to access during traffic. Staff and services were good.

Waited 30 minutes to check-in, no one at the front desk and 4 people ahead of us waiting. Called the reception phone number listed on their website, phone rang for 5 minutes, no one answered and it wasn't ringing at the front desk - no idea where the call went?! This is more of a motel, not a hotel. Booked a handicapped room and was given a room on the second floor with no elevator!!! Couldn't wait to check out only to be served by a 'nightshift' staff at 6:am who was absolutely miserable, he must hate his job - completely unhelpful.

Upon arrival we checked in and walked to our room, there were stains in the fridge, in the bathroom (if it was wiped down properly those stains wouldn’t have been there) There was hair on the carpets, we were not impressed. We got another room, it still wasn’t very clean but better than the last room. I’m usually not one to complain- but when you’re paying to stay somewhere you’d expect the room to be cleaned properly.

I strongly feel that it needs to be listed in this hotel/motel details that this place makes you sign a contract upon arrival that no more than 2 people will be in a room at any time and threatens to take your deposit if you have anyone in your room. We travelled with another family staying in this hotel as well. We had planned to gather and eat dinner and plan the next day's portion of our trip, but we were all so worried about losing our deposit if we got together that we did not. The staff were polite, but our room was dark, some of the lights did not work, it smelled stale, there were spiderwebs with spiders in the lights over the bed and the breakfast offering was substandard for their pricepoint. My recommendation to you if you are considering this hotel, pay the extra $50 a night for a regular room at the St. Martin hotel and suites in Laval. It's a night and day difference in experience and atmosphere, and you will be treated like an adult guest at the St Martin rather than being presumed guilty of being reckless at Le Chabrol.

At first I thought it was flannel sheets NOPE washed so much they are covered in “balls” The shower head sprays in all directions !! No screen on the window Even at 147$ a night it’s to much
