William Gray was located in the heart of old Montreal and was an easy landing spot to drop off our purchases or stop to use the restroom. Their restaurants and roof top terraces were absolutely superb. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. To note* I would not recommend paying extra for a balcony if you’re looking for a place with a view. It has no view (at least ours and majority others I saw were just walls and big noisy fans from restaurants)… but the room itself was sublime! They let us check in early with no hassle and even held our luggage when we checked out as our flight wasn’t until later. I am beyond thrilled with this hotel! A

Loved the place. Room was beautiful and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The concierge helped us with a walking tour. Maybe it was a language problem but wanted to go to the Perche and they was some confusion about needing reservations if you just wanted a drink. Which turned into 4 hours later to you can’t go up unless you’re eating. Orherwise I great time in Montreal.

Modern, clean, safe, perfectly located amidst Old Port. Staff is friendly and efficient. Our room was quiet and comfortable. Terrace is a wonderful place for drinks and food with fantastic view. Spa/massage was great. Maggie Oaks makes a delicious omelette.

William Gray is in a great location - we were on the top floor which is right beside their beautiful terrasse restaurant with an amazing view. Despite this our room was still very quiet, however we had several fruit flies in the room and bathroom that we think must have had to do with being so close to the restaurant as we've never experienced something like that before especially with a hotel of this calibre. Room was very clean otherwise and loved the shower. Everyone working there was so nice and welcoming and we enjoyed our breakfasts at Maggie Oakes. Overall we had a nice stay.

The entire staff at The Hotel William Gray could not have been nicer or more accommodating! They go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. Super clean and the location is ideal if you are visiting the Port or Old Montreal area. Within walking distance of the Notre Dame Basilica, which is a must see! The restaurant, Maggie Oakes, is excellent as well. I would love to go back to Montreal again, and this is the only place I will stay.
