Downtown Montreal which has pros and cons. Mostly offices and hotels . But nice restaurants and high st shops near. Much less culture than plateau or mile end. All mostly good and served our needs a few days. Room quiet and good air conditioning. Nice shower.....but little flaws like tray sorting on corridor several days.

I always enjoy our stays at Le Cantlie. It has a lively vibe, the staff is friendly and helpful, and we love the food in Le Mezz. So many hotels have a cold, corporate feel , but Le Cantlie has old world charm.

Horrible cleanliness and service. Would never stay here again. Absolutely outdated. Appears way more luxurious and modern than it actually is. We had issues` with both Executive Suites I booked, one having a badly clogged sink and a disgusting stain on the wall which should never have been there in the first place, the other having a mildly clogged sink and non-functioning AC. Both issues were rectified after 2 nights of staying there, despite multiple complaints. They were finally rectified on the final date of our stay. Not the service and cleanliness I was expecting for the price we paid.

Very pleasant stay at the Cantlie. Great rooftop pool, clean rooms with kitchenettes, central location, etc. Valet parking is $35 per day but that feels like the going rate these days and at least there were in and out privileges. And the parking attendant - like the staff generally - was excellent.

Parking is not included as a hotel guest. That’s separate and I was not told until I was checking out. The rooms temperature was not working properly.. it was alright in the room but it wouldn’t get cool. We were there during a 90 degree week so it would have been nice to cool down a little. The pool didn’t have towels stocked so we used our room towels. The front desk was nice, the bellhop when I got there was nice.. the room was clean.. otherwise, I rate this hotel as average.
