Beautiful hotel, room was really nice. Been here a few times now. The bar options and service could be better. Amazing breakfast, ordered the American. Only downside was the balsamic dressing in the salad, needs to be in a bowl not in the plate. The dressing soaked the eggs.

A very understated hotel, just give minutes walk from Notre Dame. Our room was impressively spacious with a huge comfortable bed and as much storage as upu could possibly need. The breakfasts were excellent and the staff friendly. Loved it.

I really liked this hotel. The only reason why I didn’t give a perfect 5 star (and knocked off 1 star) is because the breakfast was not included in the price. Breakfast was quite expensive and when I think of comparable 4-star hotels in Italy, it falls short of a good value (i.e., breakfast was included in all of 4-star stays in Italy). Additionally, the lighting could be better in the bathroom and room. The concept of minimal/low light is great at night but it would be great if guests have the option for brighter lights which could be dimmed later at night. My mom and I stayed in the corner suite and it was great. There are several great things about the suite: the size was quite large; the bed and pillow were super comfortable; the rainfall shower head was so therapeutic, the storage/closet space was quite spacious and generous, and the desk was also quite large and spacious. Also, my mom and I really loved the area (Old Montreal) as it is walkable to everything including great restaurants, shopping, and the port. Furthermore, it was a nice touch to see a personalized card with some local chocolates and free water when I first entered the room. I really appreciate this gesture. Overall, I would choose this hotel again if there is a promotional discount or if I have reward nights to use. I do recommend this hotel if you can afford it.

A beautiful property with unique rooms. Staff goes above and beyond. One of the best showers I’ve experienced in a hotel. Breakfast was delicious. Only complaint would be that the room needs more hooks to hang things and bathroom counter space, which is my complaint with most hotels

I’m surprised that this hotel gets such good reviews. We stayed for three nights for a long weekend . The location is great, the room was spacious, but otherwise our stay was quite unremarkable. The lobby is lifeless and has a bit of a depressing vibe. Our room had a bathroom that was wide open to the sleeping area, so that was a bit of an awkward layout. The hotel didn’t notify us in advance that there was ongoing street construction, so we were woken up every morning at 7am with noise from heavy machinery and loud banging right outside our window. On Sunday, the hotel housekeeping staff were very loud in the hallway outside our room, so we could also hear them slamming doors and talking loudly early in the morning.
