The location is great as it is on Montreal Chinatown and the metro station is next to the hotel. The hotel is a little old and there is not much upgrade. I personally prefer newer hotel, as the price is about the same compare to the other hotels around the area.

1h30min for check-in, standing. Only one person at the counter. It was 5pm and we were informed the rooms were still being clean whilst the check-in started at 2pm. This is not acceptable. Also, air conditioning in the room was impossible to turn off. Was noisy and the temperature was too low for me.

Carpet very dirty, behind bathroom door there was white strike and I ask for it to be clean and it was not done. Needed to ask for new battery in remote and airconditioning to be started. Staff very friendly and kind.

The hotel is right by Old Montreal and the port (less than a 10 minute walk) which is convenient. This was my second stay at this hotel and I will not be returning due to discrepancies in charges (price was significantly higher than said on Expedia). I’d advise paying ahead rather than at the property to avoid this issue! The cleanliness of the room was subpar my last stay with stains on pillows and grime residue in the shower. Front desk staff was very kind aside from my issues regarding charges.

Great place to stay - very central and walkable, close to metro/bus/Bixi (bikes). We didn’t try the restaurant but there are many options nearby.

The do not disturb signs are for decoration. While out for the day the staff came in, moved my clothes, cleaned the room and folded up our already used towels. You also have to pay $30 a night to park in THEIR parking. Bed was great and the hotel itself was super unique but it made me feel super grossed out knowing the blatant disregard for the DND sign. They also changed the temperate during their time in our room. I left it at 18.5 (I love cold rooms) and they put it up to 22.5. 👎
