After all the negative past reviews of this property, I feel that I need to share my recent stay at this property. I was at the hotel this past weekend and I can only say that my whole experience was very positive. I was greeted warmly at the check in, offered travel information about Montreal, explained how to get the easiest way to the parking available - something I would overwhelmingly recommend as one does not need a car in Montreal ! - and was assigned a nice room on the upper level of the hotel facing the back. The "small" room was large enough with a walk-in shower with glass sliding doors. The AC worked well and was not as loud as other types can be. I ate at the in-house bar/resto and found the food to be good and quick and wait staff was friendly. Would I stay here again? Most certainly.

The only way to get fresh air in the room is to turn on a very noisy, old box air conditioner. Room was stuffy even with the fan on. Small size rooms are tiny. Lots of construction on the section of St Catherine St close to the hotel.

Can’t beat the location!
Check in was quick. Our rooms were ready upon arrival. Room 331 still had the previous guests food in the fridge and the bathroom fan had about an inch of dust on it. The beds were clean and comfortable. The location was perfection so we would definitely stay again. Our second room 326 was well cleaned upon arrival.

Room was extremely small. Bathroom was awful. Toilet faced shower with 6 inches of clearance. When you sat on the toilet your feet and legs were in the shower. The bed was like sleeping on a slab if concrete. The shower had someone elses hair in it. The property is outdated and had the feeling of a college dorm.
