Avoid if you have breathing problems
I cannot overstate enough how much air freshener they use. Our while family’s eyes were watering and I could barely breathe upon walking in. We asked about it & the front desk girl who was wearing a mask said it gave her a headache the first few days and they had “just” put new ones up 2 days prior. It was insanely overwhelming and carried into the rooms. The elevator looked as though it had not been vacuumed and the rooms were so dirty. They looked clean upon first glance but they also appeared unvacuumed and the corners of the bathroom were so gross. We turned the shower on and black stuff came up the drain. The toilet wouldn’t flush. We primarily booked this for the pool. It was like an abandoned place.. the lights were flickering and the pool looked so so dirty & was freezing. Wish I had looked into it more. Thankfully we left and got our money back but truly would warn anyone, especially with breathing problems, to avoid this place. The front desk lady was very nice and understanding. The whole place needs a deep clean and staff that cares when cleaning after other guests.

This hotel has good cleanliness and location. We reserved it because it has an indoor pool for my kids, unfortunately the pool is not heated and in November it was too cold to swim in. The breakfast is as basic as it gets.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at La quinta Montgomery Hotel at a lovely spot conveniently located near downtown Alabama, and it was nothing short of fantastic. The spacious ambiance allowed for a relaxation, making it an ideal place to start the day. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, contributing to a friendly atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Overall, I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a nice spot near downtown area to visit.

Continental breakfast needs some attention. Sausage and hash browns were not cooked enough. They were actually almost raw. Everything else in this establishment was very nice and we had a great time.
